Popular discount website Groupon is now offering a coupon for medical marijuana in Florida—and it’s on sale!
Five dispensaries across the state are allowed to sell medical marijuana in the form of CBD oil. One CBD oil offered is the well-known Charlotte’s Web, which is used to help ease pain and side effects for cancer patients and those with various seizure disorders.
Groupon is currently running a special on Charlotte’s Web: two 500-milligram shipments for $75.
One of the five dispensaries with permission to sell CBD oil in Florida is Surterra Therapeutics. Dr. Joe Dorn, Surterras MD, emphasizes the importance of purchasing CBD oil from a licensed facility:
“They evaluate the patient face to face and then they order it, and the patient basically comes and fills that order.”
Because doctors suggest that patients receive evaluation prior to using CBD oil for medical purposes, purchasing the product online may not be the safest way to access it.
